Adrienne Ward
Managing Director
Adrienne, a former State Telstra Business Woman of the Year, has a background in business, marketing, governance and strategy with past State and National roles including Accenture; Optus Vision and Westpac.
These roles included Director of Marketing, Government Relations and Business Development, Accenture and National Manager Women in Business for Westpac Banking Corporation.
Adrienne is active on several boards including Queensland Events Corporation (QEC) and The Premier of Queensland’s Business Round Table. Adrienne is also Chairman of The Board Diversity Round Table and Artworkers Alliance Inc and is previous Chairman of the Institute of Modern Art. An avid contributor, Adrienne is also a member of the QEC Audit Committee and a previous board member of The ICT Ministerial Advisory Group, Griffith University Council and Brisbane/North Point Institute of TAFE.
Amongst her many achievements Adrienne was awarded the Centenary Medal in 2003 for distinguished service and achievement in business and commerce. Other awards include the Westpac Chief Executive Award and Adrienne has also been named as 1 of the top 12 “Women to Watch” in Australia for Business Class Magazine.
Adrienne has been asked to be a Guest Lecturer, present papers, speak and debate at various venues and events including many Queensland universities; State High Schools; several Government Agencies; State Councils and Executive Organisations/Conferences both state-wide and nationally.
In 2002 Adrienne and her husband Tony entered the “Quick Service Restaurant” industry and bought a McDonald’s franchise in South East Queensland which is operated by Tony.
